Someday I'd like to write books, but for now I will just read them.

The Picture of Dorian Gray- Oscar Wilde
The Catcher In The Rye - JD Salinger
White Oleander - Janet Fitch
The Elegance of the Hedgehog - Muriel Barbery
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - Jonathan Safran Foer
The History of Love - Nicole Krauss
Killing Yourself To Live - Chuck Klosterman
Trout Fishing In America - Richard Brautigan
The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald
Breakfast of Champions - Kurt Vonneguit
Less Than Zero - Bret Easton Ellis
The Neverending Story - Michael Ende
The Once and Future King - TH White

what are yours?

  1. loved "killing yourself to live"! good picks!

    xo G.

  2. The Picture of Dorian Gray is my favorite book ever :-)

  3. Just finished Dorian, and White Oleander is one of my favourites too. Haunting.

Invisible Monsters (or anything by Chuck Palahniuk, really)
The Great Good Thing (reminds me of my childhood)
The Alchemist (I really recommend this, It will only take you one or two hours to read as it is very short and a very easy read, and is so unexplainably amazing)
Playing with the Grown Ups (just get through the first half and its smooth sailing/ can't put it down)
